:: WHAT TYPES OF THERAPIES ARE AVAILABLE? ::

At Corfu Psychology we have training and experience with many forms of therapy. These include psychoanalytic psychotherapy, various behavioural and cognitive therapies. We are available for both short term management of a crisis or intermediate to long term therapy.

 
:: IS THERAPY CONFIDENTIAL? ::

Following Greek law, information exchanged during the course of psychotherapy is privileged communication and subject to privacy. At Corfu Psychology we are not permitted to acknowledge that any one is in our care unless given your written permission. There are exceptions such as danger to the individual or others.

 
:: HOW LONG DOES THERAPY TAKE? ::

The length of time therapy can take is entirely dependent on the individual, the pre-existing issues, the goals of the person and their willingness to participate in the process. It can take as little as a few sessions to a few years to help someone move on.
